At Providence Hall this week, SSHS’s Cross Country team experienced something they haven’t experienced all season. Abby Laswell and Jillian Tillett were the only girls from South Summit running. Meet Recap On September 10th (2016), the South Summit X-Country Team left in the early morning to head to one of the toughest courses of the year, the Wasatch Invitational at Soldier Hollow. South Summit Cross Country team got ready for yet another meet on September 7th at the Oakley Rodeo Grounds. Joining South Summit was North Summit and the Oakley School, who hosted the meet. BYU’s Autumn XC Classic was held on Saturday, Sept. 3rd. The course consists of three 1-mile grassy loops, each lap finishing on the sky-blue track in the shadow of Y Mountain. Brothers Koven and Stuart Card, along with Sam Galati, ran for the Wildcats in the Freshman/Soph race. Koven smashed his PR (personal record)
